I received a letter from Ford regarding the recall on my F-150 truck stating that Ford would not be repairing the damage caused by the fire caused by your faulty switch. I don’t see how Ford is not responsible since the fire was after the first letter but before the second letter. The first letter stated that there was a problem and that Ford did not have the parts for the repairs. The second letter said for me to make an appointment. I called the dealer in my area and told her about my problem, and asked it they would provide me with a vehicle to drive while they repaired my truck. She said no. So, since I work out of my truck and it is my only vehicle, I did not take it to be repaired. The brake reservoir is leaking, so if I take my truck for the switch to be repaired, another fire is most likely. The damage was caused by the faulty switch, and the repairs were not available to me before the fire started. So, why does it matter that the truck was not brought in before now?
