This is something I watched on the KHON2 news channel on Monday August 13,2007 10:00p. We already have Hurricane Flossie on it’s way, the Big Island just had a 5.3 earthquake, then something like this is seen in the sky..kinda weird..anyway, the guy you hear speaking is news anchor Ron Mizutani. Sorry ’bout the quality.

In the midst of hurricane warnings, Hawaii gets hit with an earthquake
An earthquake on Monday jolted the Big Island of Hawaii, which is already under a hurricane watch and a tropical storm warning. The magnitude 5.3 temblor struck at 7:38 p.m. local time, about 25 miles south of Hilo, according to a preliminary report from the U.S. Geological Survey.
