   Dear Juanita

   You are going to get a very strange one here, but I assure you Juanita that your only answer to this situation is WWJD. 1 Peter 2:21-23

   It’s pointless asking “Why me?” The answer is simple. “Why not you?”. Whatever is special about you cannot be more special than the master you profess. The darkness deepens and we can only look to the cross and hold on to the author and finisher of our faith during attacks of the enemy, such as this one.

   Make this easy on yourself - drop the charges on your husband and let God be God. God Himself can take care of Bishop Thomas Weeks. Once again, “What would Jesus Do?” There is your answer.

   May the Great Jehovah our Comforter, bless you with whatever you stand in need of right now, as you grieve and live through this. Amen.

   In response to your “why not me”, Jesus is NOT the author of confusion nor destruction. He says “trouble will come, but fear not for I have overcome the world.” I do not think it is anyones perogative that she has chosen to press charges. God is a God of love and justice. If she chose to also divorce him she would not be in the wrong. Jesus wants us to walk in love, which is patient and kind etc (1 corinthians 13) He does NOT require a wife to be a whipping board in the process. The first and most important thing for her to do is to ensure that SHE feels safe in light of the threats that were made to her by her husband and that she is made whole in her spirit, soul and body. One of the roles of a husband is to guard and protect his wife….to stand in the gap as an intercessor and priest. When he usurps that role, then he strips away all trust an she feels exposed and unsafe.What her husband did was just as equivalent to rape. Is Jesus her protector? Yes he is, however, the bible says that God is the Glory of the husband and the husband is the glory of the wife. Juanita needs total restoration now. We should be supporting her through prayer and cease to to be judgmental.

   well, I would say that it is well. But one thing that everybody should understand is that so long as we are in this human body living on this earth. things are bound to happen. temptations come for everybody, sometimes we pass,sometimes we fail and sometimes we feel pain but God knows our situations

   This is a time for prophetes Bynum and Bishop weeks to deal with such moments of turmoil. I say this because the abuser could also be a victim of other forces we don’t know. the best thing for the rest of us is to give them time to start healing and pray for them.

   the bible say’s when a man find a wife he have found a good thing not beat the thing! this is a sad thing for all men that preach the word of God to have a so call bishop beating his wife openly, what if it was his daughter would he made it so easy to go on bet and tell all to get brownie points, I think not. if it be told he was married once did he beat her as well. something make you go ahhhhh! I think both need to call on God and repent to God first then to themselves. It would be hard for me to be under their leadership.I know I wouldn’t be under Mr.Weeks/ I do pray all will work out for the both of them and no one’s blood is left on their hands. who been encouaged to feel it’s ok to beat his wife, who’s been discouaged not to live for God, something makes you go mmmmmmm!

   Juanita, Woman of God you shared with people your beautiful marriage. In your book you gave women hope. Wen in deed it appears it was all an fairy tale. I truely believe your marriage was publicsized so that God would get the glory. I have read scriptures that people gave you. My question is is who commited the adultery? I love you so much. I was abused also. In my first marriage it was not until he cheated on me I left,because i wanted to live according to the word so bad.We as women are very emotional. I do not think a man of God has a right to abuse their wife.What happens when we are in that secret place and abuse them? I am remarried and right now my marriage is before the church I have not attempt to divorce him.I am pressing because in the end no matter what people think .My vowel to God ia more important.If you divorce this man make sure it is God.And not because you feel ashame. i love you my sister
