Birmingham Green
It’s Spring in the South. And Birmingham Alabama is host to one of the oldest and largest Saint Patrick Day Parades in the Southeast. The parade travels north on 20th Street to the delight of both the crowds who line the streets and the folks in the office buildings that tower over historic Birmingham Green in the middle of downtown. It’s about having fun together and ALL being a little Irish for a day. Not to mention the ONLY time you can here a Crimson Tide fan yell "Go Irish!".

Richard Widmark, who made a sensational film debut as the giggling killer in “Kiss of Death” and became a Hollywood leading man in “Broken Lance,”"Two Rode Together” and 40 other films, has died after a long illness.
